Toward the end of the semester I had the Latin 1 students participate in assembling a bulletin board. The project corresponded with CLC stage 8 which culminates with a riot between the Pompeians and the neighboring villagers (Nuceria) over the outcome of a gladitorial show in 59 AD.

Each section of Latin took on the role of the two groups involved in the riot with Latin 1C as the Pompeians and 1F as the Nucerians - the result is shown in the photos below.
